ECC Meet and Greet

February 23rd, 2010

Christina and I went down to Mosquito Lagoon for East Cape’s meet and greet.  It was awesome to see a bunch of different boats together.

Ross and I got out for some winter-time redfish action.  We stayed shallow and caught some nice fish.  Two hit a suspending twitch bait.   Also had fish on weedless grubs, gulps, and a big powerbait.  Fishing in Charleston in February in all its finest.

It’s wintertime.  Its cold, but the sight fishing is intense.  Wind is our worst enemy right now, but when it lays down, the sight fishing has been incredible.  Tyler, from Castaway Customs, caught a 14lb redfish on the fly the other day.
